Design for a bike friendly app developed as a project for the UX class of the art direction program at Miami Ad School | ESPM
Developed with Luan Almeida and Matheus Scafuto with the supervision of Ricardo Grego.
For his 80th birthday, Mauricio de Sousa got an airplane.
In partnership with Avianca airlines, a whole aircraft was customized with Turma da Mônica's characters, inside and out, from the overhead bins to the plane exterior. I got to be involved in the project from the very beginning and it was thrilling to see the first ideas finally take flight (pun intended).
The project was developed at Mauricio de Sousa Produções, with the creative direction of Bruno Honda Leite and the teamwork of Luciano Sigoli, Tim Well, Marcelo Saggion, Juliana Gonçalves, Claudia Arbex, Irene Dellega, Edu Akio, Vagner Furlan, Emy Acosta.

Art direction and character design for a NET campaign in partnership with Mundo do Sítio, about safety on the internet for children.
Project coordination: Livia Lopes and Simone Coelho
Direction / Animation / Production: Split Studio
Sítio do Picapau Amarelo is a beloved classic of children's literature in Brazil, written by Monteiro Lobato, almost 100 years ago.
Today, its characters are part of Brazil's popular culture and have been present through generations.
This is the redesign of the characters.
The idea was to refresh everything visually, with a contemporary look, but keeping the core of such incredible characters - from a stubborn talking doll to a living corncob with a pretty high IQ.
In addition to the redesign of the characters, a whole new identity was developed with Rômulo Castilho. As a guide for placement of the new identity in campaigns and on packaging, a styleguide was produced – with all the applications and brand rules.
Sítio animated series is produced by Mixer and animated by 2DLab, with the direction of Humberto Avelar. Currently on the 3rd season, it runs on the saturday mornings of TV Globo and daily on Cartoon Network.
This project won the REBRAND 100 Merit Award 2012 and was also featured on Brand New and The Concept Art Blog.
It was a great honor (and a huge responsability) for me to work with this amazing universe!
